Hannah Bradby is a writer and editor who has taught in universities in Scotland, England, Sweden and Russia and is currently Professor of Sociology at Uppsala University.
Hannah is field chief editor for Frontiers in Sociology and contributing editor at the Cost of Living blog which discusses the politics, economics and sociology of health and health care.
Hannah’s professional experience includes:
- Research funded by the Medical Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council ;
- Editing the Sociology of Health and Illness monograph series ;
- Co-editing Ethnicity and Health ;
- Convening international conferences;
- Expert reviewing for international research councils, charities, health service, publishing houses and journals;
- Teaching on medical school, sociology and public health courses as lecturer, convenor, small group leader, assessment coordinator and training other tutors.
